Trogs is intended as an hour-long character-based drama series examining a fictional organization known only as the Trogs, an illegal clandestine unit loosely affiliated with the American government.  Our goal is to completely redefine the spy series as The Wire redefined the police procedural, The Sopranos redefined the mob show, and the new Battlestar Galactica redefined science fiction. We believe it is possible to make a show about spies and assassins that does not fall into any easy clichés, does not use any stock characters, and does not take any easy ways out. Our focus is on providing rich and immersive storytelling that emphasizes realism, depth of character, and a reliance on genuine human drama rather than explosions or firefights.
